Japan was NOT the first country to ban the Hijab; all other accusations are lies as well

Japan was NOT the first country to do any of those things – Tunisia was the first country to ban the Hijaab.
As for being the first country to ‘stop teaching Qur’aan’ – they’re not a Muslim country, it’s not their job to be teaching the Qur’aan. Infact, there was an incident of Qur’aanic verses appearing in a popular Manga (comic book) which the Muslims of Japan objected to and got an apology for, from the artist and the Government.
Another lie about them being the first country ‘to tear pages of the Qur’aan’ There’s no proof for that whatsoever. Think about it – any video of Members of Parliament getting together for a ‘Qur’aan tearing fest’?
I know people living in Japan with no problem practising Islaam. I’m pretty pissed with this rumour being spread on Facebook and Twitter.
However, I do believe that these things happen for a reason and in (Japan’s case there a millions of other reasons like homosexuality, transvestites, mushriks, kufr, obscene dancing and singing, open drinking etc.) I do believe that things like earthquakes, floods, volcanos and tsunamis and even oppressive rulers are results of some wrong-doing of people - but instead of using these reasons to absolve ourselves of feeling pity for these people, we should rather make Shukr that Allaah has mercy on us day in and day out DESPITE our own short-comings, perhaps even to reform and reflect on our own wrong-doings.
Haraam chickens anyone? Refusing to stand up against the Prophet Cartoons and the MMB?
There’s nothing ‘good’ about the state of Imaan of our Muslims. Stop making up stuff about people who are suffering in the world; who need our Du’aas more than anything, just so you can feel comfortable and protected in your lives of sin

WOOOW!!!
It was so good to see Nadal again, doing what he does best – BE THE MAN.
Nadal was playing Davis Cup in Spain, on clay, against the USA, it was awesome, i mean seriously who stands a chance against the Spanish – on clay. I didnt get to see his girlfriend, i dont know if she was there, however his mother was there. His official fansite Vamosbrigade.com on the other hand….is very informative and has many pics of him and his girlfriend.
Nadal is finally World No 1, not surprisingly. I totally knew he could do it, but the “how” part is still amazing. I mean when I think back to that Wimbledon Final- it still is the single most nerve-wrecking, yet exciting moment in history. The day that perseverance got a face – Nadal is like a symbol of ‘never – say – die’. Anyways, that was then, this is now, good to see Nadal again, Hope that they can win the Davis Cup and then he can go on to win a few “Masters Tournaments” before the big year-end one. VAMOS Rafa !

In a few hours time, South Africa might or might not have a change of President. It’s kind of shocking to see a guy (Zuma) about to get chucked in jail do a complete 180 and wind up being the President. I wonder if Mbeki actually knows that he is on the chopping block what with him rushing to Zimbabwe and getting happy there.
Personally, I don’t care who gets the job, as long as electricity, free broadband (Eish this blogging and my cap!) and Hajj becoming available to everybody materializes. (What the last one got to do with a change of presidency, I don’t really know. But I want! I want!)
We’ll only know in a few hours time, so untill then, let’s watch re-runs of both individuals dance gigs.

The Beijing Olympics are over; depression hits in waves. I thoroughly enjoyed this Olympics – not only because China kicked ass but because they gave equal attention to the Paralympics – “two games with equal splendor” - where our South Africans kicked double-ass. (hardly two lines in and I’ve written ‘ass’ twice. Now thrice). I have been gushing not-stop about this and have been dragged by my two siblings online to voice my most enthusiastic, heartfelt opinions. This was the inspiration of this blog. I doubt I’ll be gushing about the Olympics in, say, two weeks time because I have a distinct attention-span deficit. So let me just gush a little more . . . but because all my thoughts are hitting me at once maybe ill leave the gushing for now, but i’m sure ull hear about them soon.
Before I go I just need to say a very big CONGRATULATIONS to the South African Paralympic team . . . U make us proud and give us strength and make us happy – I have to say it here because I couldnt find a single place on the internet to leave them a special message. (What the hell? Shouldn’t the official website have a message centre? Sheesh. that makes me siick). To every other athlete who performed at the Paralympics, Congratulations to you too, that was awesome, i feel honoured to have witnessed these special
(record breaking) moments everyday.Thanks Everyone,
signing off for today.
